Scenic flights

Mack Air’s scenic flights provide guests with the unique opportunity to have a bird’s eye view of the Okavango Delta.

Flying at approximately 500 feet above ground, passengers can expect to see wildlife in their natural habitats, allowing for exceptional photographic opportunities. To enhance the experience, we limit the number of passengers from 12 to 9, ensuring that each guest has access to a window seat for optimal viewing.

Scenic flights are one hour in length and run either in the early morning or late afternoon when the light is golden, and wildlife is most active. Before take-off in Maun, a Mack Air pilot briefs passengers on what to expect during the flight, including which areas are visited and the possible sights to look out for. Our pilots are also expert guides and during the flight they will share insider knowledge of the area.
